About Us

Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors is the only firm in the nation to have received the highest awards for excellence from The National Funeral Directors Association, The Cremation Association of North America and the International Order of the Golden Rule. We owe this to the personal excellence of the women and men who make up our staff. They represent a rich variety of experiences, interests, professional and educational backgrounds, from senior and emeritus staff, to students and apprentices. Each makes, in his or her own way, an important contribution to the services we provide to families in need and to the communities we serve.

Read below to learn a little more about each member of our current staff. We are proud to display an incredible amount of diversity and spunk. We believe that we incorperate the best of what our community has to offer in each of these individuals. If ever you feel moved to be involved in funeral service, please reach out to one of our directors--we look forward to meeting our neighbors, especially those who have a drive to serve others.

Our Staff

Dougie Giant

Perhaps one of the most recognizable faces in all of funeral service, Dougie Giant has been a main-stay at L&S for over 450 years. Though small in stature, his personality speaks volumes. He has been a founding member of our "Loss is Loss" program, which helps families reunite with their lost pets by designing and printing 'lost' posters that the family can place around town. Dougie is a member of the Luncheon Ladies of St. Tony's Baptist Church as well as the 'den-mother' of Scouts Troop # 445 of Livingston County. Click his photo to send him an email.

George McLuggage

The youngest member of the L&S team, Mr. George McLuggage is our team spirit animal. He encourages and inspires the staff and client-families to 'live each day like it is their last.' He was raised in the Micoff community and is a recent graduate of the Waldecker academy. Pictured here with his mother, George displays his award winning smile. Clay Bobby Billy Michaels

Clay serves as our main support staff. He is virtious and musical and a real asset to our team. He is the founder of the Milford Goatee Committee and owns significant stock in the Curl on Curl Club. When not at work, he is a family man focus on raising his next lil generation of cowboys and cowgirls.
